Halloween Night (finally)

Thank goodness the night is over and Halloween only comes once a year!
Bailey picked this pumpkin up at the Clayton Pumpkin Patch. It was so tasty! This year I filled it with broccoli instead of meatloaf. Long story, but we still had meatloaf, just not in the pumpkin.
All fed and dressed

Ghosts made it outside
Carved four of our eight pumpkins
Broke our glow sticks
Put our shoes on

AND we're off!

Kids brought home lots of treats and had another great Halloween!

Halloween Lunch

We spent a little too much time this morning playing at the playground so we had to change our lunch, but I think it is still rather festive!
Orange spam musubi, kaki and pumpkin seeds from our pumpkins we carved last night!
Mummy Juice (Gregory and I made them a couple of weeks ago)

Daddy's company is letting all the parents go home early tonight so they can trick-or-treat with their kiddies so he'll be home to have dinner with us too! Happy Halloween!

Carving Pumpkins

We were able to squeeze in carving pumpkins today! Daddy did the cutting and the kids and I did most of the cleaning. Daddy had to step in after he cleaned up his painting supplies. As always, the kids had a great time. This year they tell me the best part was eating the pumpkin seeds! :)

The Sprayer

Daddy broke out his new toy today
Along with his protective gear

And started spray painting our house in Chadwick! Whoo hoo!

Spooky Ghosts!

Cut out 2 eyes and a spooky mouth
Open up a wedding bell
Cover with cheese cloth and stick on eyes and mouth
Pretty spooky
Don't you agree?
I wanted to hang them out on the porch, but the kiddies had other plans for them

BOO!

Halloween Parades

San Ramon Unified has a teacher inservice day on Halloween so today the kids had their parade and party at their schools. Clark took the day off to help get everyone to the right place on time and watch the kids march around in costume. Bailey's parade was at 8:50a and Gregory's started at 10:30a so we both got to watch both of their parades! After Gregory's parade we got to take him home so we went out for "breakfast" and made it back in time to pick Bailey up at 1:50p. Got home and now Daddy and Gregory are out painting while Bailey and I are just kicking back. Was a very long morning, but we all had a fun time!

Bailey's Award!

Yesterday when I picked Bailey up from school she was so excited to show me something!
At the school assembly she received a Life Skills award for Organization from the principal!
AND it also came with a free ice cream!
So tomorrow after school we (including Daddy since he took the day off!) will stop by the ice cream stand and purchase a popsicle to celebrate! Whoo Hoo, Sweets!

Happy Birthday, Sweets!

My baby...

7 years ago our little Bailey was born - 7lbs, 14 ounces, 21 inches
We celebrated her first birthday
And her second
Daddy blew up THREE balloons for her third birthday (what a ham)
Here she is on her fourth birthday
Here she is on her fifth birthday with her Hello Kitty birthday cake!
And last year she turned SIX!

Tomorrow Bailey will be turning seven! Hmmm, I wonder if I'm aging as fast as she is??

Golden View Carnival

School carnival time!
Bailey's favorite stop is the hair station! This year she painted her hair PINK!

Pretty fancy, huh?
Posing with Daddy. Notice Hello Kitty came to the carnival, too?!
Here's Gregory with Curious George. We will have to write about this in his class journal!
Gregory shooting baskets. He made 2 out of 3. Pretty good!
Now he's trying the football toss. Made 3 out of 3 here.
This was Bailey's class booth - The Lollipop Tree
Here's the lollipop Bailey made to decorate the booth
This was the Treasure Hunt booth. Had to dig in bird seed for a gold coin

Fun in the sun! We didn't stay too long since our boys had to get back to painting, but we had a great time!

My boys...

were up early today.
Here's my little man helping Daddy paint the house.
Here's my other boy working on the high parts
Gregory took a break to go try out this sports training class and have a little fun at the school carnival, but he went right back out there as soon as we got home! Daddy sure has a great helper!

And the celebration continues...

Friday night the doorbell rang and look what we found!
A package from Montebello/Monterey Park!
It was filled with birthday goodies from Grandpa, Bachan, Auntie Lynn, Uncle Rick, Ryan, Lauren and Uncle Denis! Isn't this Hello Kitty from Lauren SOOOO cute?!
Uncle Denis knows Gregory loves Spiderman! (We just learned the theme song yesterday!)
Gogos!!
Bachan and Grandpa picked my favorite color!
And Auntie Lynn knows I love jumpers!
Crafts!!!
Uncle Denis picked a perfect shirt ~ Hello Kitty!

Well, tomorrow is the big day! Bailey turns SEVEN! Can you believe it? Our kiddies turned a year older, but I'm still wondering what happened to the year that passed...
