More Carving, The Dinner and Treating

Well, the day has FINALLY come to an end.  My family is home and I don't have to pass out anymore candy!
Today Daddy and Gregory finished up the carving of our pumpkins.  (Bailey broke out yesterday so she decided to stay inside with me
Jack Family
Well, I had planned to make our usual Halloween pumpkin meatloaf, but I have no oven!  (Its been broken for about a month now!)  But it was our lucky day cuz Grandma made us a pot of stew!
I managed to muster up some orange biscuits in our toaster and cut up some orange kaki too!

Ready to go Trick-or-Treating!

Let's be off!

SO MUCH CANDY!  I think we have over 100 candies!  Our neighbors topped off their buckets!

It's still noisy out but we turned off our lights at 8pm.  We still have a lot of candy left, but I closed up shop before the hoodlums hit!  This year I think we only had about 10 treaters ~

The Parade

This morning the kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes and we all headed to school for the PARADE!

Bailey's First Girl Scout Meeting!

Tonight was our FIRST Girl Scout Meeting!  And I think it was a hit!  Our leader, Mrs. Nicole and I (Miss assistant leader) led tonight's meeting (and we are hoping other parents will take the lead for the rest!)
We have 14 girls in our troop (one couldn't make it tonight)
I was in charge of crafts ~ first we made Halloween name tags so we can introduce ourselves and our favorite animal and the second craft was to make a Halloween lei.  They turned out SO CUTE!)
We ended with a closing circle - I think there was a name for it, but I can't remember it at the moment (Yeah, some assistant!)

My little scout with her name tag and lei.  She said she had a GREAT time so that makes it all worth it!!

Our Weekend!

We had an action packed weekend!  Well, actually Saturday.  Started with Brayden's super cute (and fun) 1st birthday party at CuriOdyssey in San Mateo, followed by a trip through San Francisco so we could drive across the new Bay Bridge, games at our school carnival (we just made the last 45 minutes, but managed to squeeze in some fun and brought home a bunch of prizes!) and a BBQ for dinner!  Today (Sunday) Daddy started his woodworking projects ~ new fence and trellises for the backyard.  The kids worked on clay charms and I'm trying to get everything prepped for our first Girl Scout meeting on Tuesday and for Halloween parties on Thursday!  Fun, fun, fun!
Our weekend starts at Brayden's First Birthday party

Kellie had so many cute decorations all around the room

"All things PUMPKIN" table ~ YUM

The hot cocoa guy (he also made coffee drinks, but the kids LOVED the hot cocoa)

Here's Grandma, Brayden and Mommy

Aunty Sharon and Lukie

Lukie had to drop everything to come in for DESSERT!

Grandpa, Grandma, Aunty Patsy, Brayden, Camryn, Bailey and Emma.  We didn't see much of the kiddies cuz they were out and about having a grand ole time playing and seeing all the animals!

THE NEW BAY BRIDGE.  It is beautiful!

Although I'm not crazy about the lights ~ Clark tells me they look pretty cool at night though
