I Caved!

We have THREE new additions to our family!  The kids have been saving up their chore money and they decided to get a pet.  Bailey wanted to get hermit crabs so she has been online adding up the cost all the accessories needed and Gregory wanted a lizard.  He really wanted a bearded dragon, but he checked out the price and decided a leopard gekko is more his speed.  Anyways, today we took a trip to Pet Smart and came home with our new friends!

Community Garage Sale!

A realtor in our neighborhood put together a community wide garage sale.  About 20 people participated and we had quite a turnout!

He made nifty signs for all of us to post on our lawn

Easter Celebration

 Our Easter celebration started with an egg hunt!  This year we missed Oliver, Emma, Camryn and Lukie who were all traveling for the holiday break, but we were quite lucky Brayden was able to join us!  After the hunt, we had dinner, dyed eggs and enjoyed a delicious dessert!  As always, we ate way too much and chatted the hours away!  Fun times!!

Egg Hunt #1

This morning Clark took the kids to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt for our community.  A local realtor sponsors it every year and they kids always have fun!

Today was a beautiful spring day!

Daddy FINISHED the fence!!  WHOO HOO!

Can you see his tail feathers under the fence?  His mom and dad have been tweeting and searching for him all day!  He was in the rosemary bush tonight.  I hope they find each other soon!!

The Aquarium!

Today we took the kids to the Monterey Bay Aquarium!  We used to go all the time when they were younger, but haven't been in a couple of years.  They have a new "Tentacles" exhibit and a new baby sea otter, too!  We had a yummy lunch at the Fish Hopper and stopped at the wharf on the way home for caramel corn and cotton candy!  Fun day!!

We had lunch at the Fish Hopper.  YUM!  And so accommodating with food allergies!  We will be back soon!!

AND they also have the best clam chowder too!!

Can You Picture It?

Today Daddy and I got half of our cutting garden planted!  I can't wait until it starts filling in and blooming!!  Zinnias, Dahlias, Hollyhocks, Gladiolus, Hydrangea, Alstroemerias, Dianthus, and a few I don't remember.  It is going to be just lovely!!  Wish I got sweet peas planted in time, but I'm never that organized.

Gor our tomatoes, eggplant and pepper in ~ along with a bunch of herbs.  Still debating about when to take out the swiss chard and lettuce.  We had swiss chard for dinner tonight so things are looking sparse, but it was quite tasty!

Daddy is almost done with the fence ~ 1 full panel left and then just the end.  Notice the lovely wood?  Gregory and Daddy go to Home Depot every Saturday and go through each slat to get the best ones!

Calvary's Spaghetti Feed!

We had another fun night at Calvary's Spaghetti Feed and RAFFLE!

My little man tells me it is hard to eat spaghetti with two missing teeth!

This year we won an egg tray! (Donated by Aunty Ruth!)

AND!  (Gregory tells me he put his tickets in this bucket especially for Brayden!)  a baby blanket and blocks!  Whoo Hoo!  Another fun year at the Raffle!!
