Ho, Ho, Ho!

Merry Christmas!  We had a wonderful day!  Santa came to visit, we played all morning (and most of the afternoon) and hosted Christmas dinner.  We had tons of fun with our cousins and finally got to meet our newest cousin, Brayden!  We ate lots of yummy food and opened WAY TOO MANY presents too!  Check out our slideshow - no text (I'm using the free one), but I think you'll get the gist of them all.  :)

Kracie Popin' Cookin' Sushi

We just got back from a weekend in Southern California.  We had Grandpa's memorial service Saturday afternoon and just spent time hanging out with the family.  Today Bailey worked with Auntie Lynn and Bachan making "sushi"  We found a kit to make candy sushi in Little Tokyo and they made them this morning.  Aren't they cute?

Bachan even had some decorative leaves to add!

It really looks like miniature sushi!

Even comes with shoyu!!

Gingerbread Houses

Today Bailey's class made gingerbread (graham cracker) houses!  Her teacher needed me to help and invited Gregory to tag along.  When we got to school, Mrs. Stifter said she had enough crackers for Gregory to make one too!  Fun, fun, fun!

Run, Run As Fast As You Can!

This past weekend the kids and I went to the Japanese American National Museum with Uncle Rick, Ryan and Lauren.  They had a free crafts day and the kids had fun making a garland, folding origami lanterns and decorating gingerbread sugar cookies!

God's Newest Angel

This afternoon Grandpa entered the gates of Heaven.  He will watch over us and keep us safe, but we will miss him terribly.

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
