Thanksgiving in Southern California

We just spent the last five days in Southern California!  Had the best time hanging out with family and friends!  Looking forward to visiting again soon ~

First stop ~ Yaohan Plaza for dinner at Honda ya!  Never been?  Give it a try!  So Yummy!

It's an izakaya so we ordered many little dishes and loved them all

We'll visit again soon ~ they have over 200 dishes so it's going to take us some time to get through the menu!  Although, I think we tried about 10 this visit!

Wednesday we went out with friends during the day and that night Aunty Lynn had a little project for us to work on
Hmmm, what are we making?
Turkey Rice Krispie Treats!  (They were too cute to eat)

Thursday we had Thanksgiving at Bachan's house.  Aunty Lynn and Bachan cooked lots of food
We ate way too much and then there was a lot of snoozing afterwards
Snoozing
More snoozing
Daddy making his wish list (Can you see what he's looking at?  Sears tools)
Oh gee ~ more snoozing
Lauren turned 19!!
We played lots of games!  Can you hear the laughing??!
Learning a new card game
Had to make a stop at Dodger Stadium
To take a photo by Jackie Robinson's number
And check out the field!  (And the sale, too)
Friday we had Dad's One Year service ~ Can you believe a year has passed already?  Gregory said he missed Grandpa sitting in his spot on the couch in the den. :(
Notice the window open and Daddy giving me that fake smile?  Gas leaked  INSIDE our van so we had to drive with the window open for 4 hours to air it out ~ and to block out me saying "I TOLD YOU!"  Ugh.  Peeuey!  But we made it home safely and all's well! :)

Turkey Treat

With all our Christmas decorating going on we kind of just passed up Thanksgiving!  Tonight we took a step back to make a little turkey treat!
Hmmm, what can you make with an oreo, a stick, some candy corn and a couple eyes?

Are you trying to guess?

Well, if you add a little melted chocolate (or a lot)

You can make...

A turkey cookie pop!

So cute!  (What's with the Halloween table cloth??)

Pop um in the freezer for a bit

And enjoy!

Warning...They are messy!

Very messy!

Christmas in the Front Yard

Today we pulled out our Christmas decorations for our front yard!
Daddy wrapped our  tree with lights

Gregory and I planted red and white cyclamen in the front

Snowmen are back in place

New addition ~ twinkling branches

Another new addition ~ polka dot elephant

Penguins are back!  Daddy said he's going to pick up a couple more friends for the front.  Without our three huge trees, things are looking a little lonely out there.

Christmas Time is Here Again!

Today Daddy decided he wanted to pull out our Christmas tree!
Seems like every year Daddy pulls this box out earlier and earlier

Our bare tree ~ notice one branch has no lights?  What's up??

Our butterfly ~ Bailey got her face painted at her friend's birthday party this afternoon

Gregory on the ladder

Daddy watched ~ he couldn't play today ~ work, work, work

Santa Baby joined in the fun

Looks a little dangerous, eh?

Tis the Season ~
