End of the Season Party

Basketball season has come to an end and I'm actually quite sad.  We have such a great group of families that make up our team.  Always fun to spend time with them.  Again the Fujii's hosted an oh so fun party!

James made the MOST DELICIOUS street tacos with all the fixings.  YUM!!!

Celebrating

We started our day helping out at the Calvary Rummage Sale and ended celebrating Grandma's  birthday!  Dad used to love working the rummage sale and this year they did it in his honor ~ I mainly worked the bake sale, but I managed to hang out with the men for a bit and heard some good stories about Dad, too...

We had a lot of yummy food for dinner.  It was a nice time for all of us to get together ~ celebrating Grandma's 78th birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRANDMA!!

Happy Birthday, Grandma!!

Today Grandma turned 78 and we took a day trip to Carmel and Monterey to celebrate!!

First stop ~ Point Lobos State Park in Carmel.  It was freezing and windy, but what a beautiful spot in the world

See the harbor seal pups?  They are hanging out in the cove!

Had a musubi lunch in the van

Went to the Barnyard to check out what was there.  Lots of beautiful flowers, not so many stores (and a photo bomber :\)

Went to check out the shops on Cannery Row next.  Bought a TON of candy!

Had an early dinner at Old Fisherman's Grotto on the wharf, picked up caramel popcorn and some other treats and headed home.
