Grandpa and Grandma's 50th Anniversary Dinner and Our Tree ~

This afternoon Daddy dragged all of our Christmas decorations down from the rafters and we got our house all ready for the holiday!  (Yes, not the one coming up this week ~ I'm skipping another one...)

Then, tonight we all got together and had dinner to celebrate Grandpa and Grandma's 50th Anniversary.  Yes, we celebrated over the summer, but their real anniversary is on Friday so their kiddies took them out this time.

Beautiful

Boys snoozing while the girls decorated.  They carried in the boxes and set up the tree.

We had dinner at the Peasant and the Pear in Danville

Grandma and Grandpa both had fisherman's stew

Aunty Joey had cassoulet

Uncle Ryan had lamb shank

Daddy had buttered crab and I had pork chops .  Not sure what the folks had on the other table.  Sorry ~ didn't get any photos

Then we all came home for opera cake from Creme Si Bon

Stuff

Are the days flying by faster this year??  Geez, I'm barely keeping up.  Lots going on.  Kids are doing well!

Bailey got new SMOs and now she can wear boots!  Tricky to find ones that fit over them, but Grandma found these for her!  She LOVES them!

Little one got his jersey.  #32 for Diablo!

Kiki taking a stroll while I cleaned her tank

Bailey bridged into Junior Scouts yesterday

The cub scouts had their Rain Gutter Regatta last night ~ Take a guess which one is Gregory's?!
And the Dodgers came in FIRST PLACE!  I have lots of videos, but I can't get them to post. :(  Ask me and I'll show you tho!

Happy Halloween!

Daddy took the kids out trick-or-treating last night while I hibernated in the dark hoping no one would notice I was home.  Feeling like a bit of a hermit lately and never really got into the Halloween spirit ~ No pumpkin patch (although I did pick up a couple pumpkins at the market on Wednesday), no spooky dinner, no carving of pumpkins and no pumpkin seeds either!  (Of course, everyone knows how much I love this holiday so no one should be too surprised!)  Kids had a great night and that's all that matters.  I'll be better next year!

BOO!
