The Fairy Garden ~

Gregory gave Bailey this Fairy Garden for Christmas last year and this afternoon the kids worked on putting it together.
Here they are all prepared to start
They decided to start by painting the toadstools and fairy hut
So cute
Here's the little fairy!
Her name is Hannah
Now they are planting grass and "Magic Beans"
We'll have to plan for an update once the seeds start sprouting, but here's how the garden looks right now. Such a fun project for a nice spring day!

Our little morning visitor ~ Sam

We had a little excitement this morning! Gregory had a homework assignment to make a leprechaun trap. He shared it at school on Friday and when he brought it home he set it by the fireplace. Well, this morning we woke up and we found our garland inside Gregory's trap! The tricky leprechaun escaped!
Here he is this morning next to his trap

close up
The leprechaun left him a note!
Guess the little guy figured out how to use the garland to get out
He left a mess along with his little note
Hmmm, wonder if Sam looked like mr. o'gregory

We took a quick trip to Monterey Park this weekend! It was short, but packed with family fun! We had a great time hanging out at Bachan and Grandpa's house ~ lots of playing, eating and celebrating Grandpa and Ryan's February birthdays! We wish we could've stayed longer, but we will plan another trip very soon.

Visiting Hibachan

Yesterday we visited Grandpa and Grandma in Stockton. Mommy wanted to take her quilt in to the quilt lady to be quilted and we always love visiting Grandpa and Grandma! This visit we joined Grandpa and Grandma on their spring cleaning trip to the cemetery. We helped clear the old flowers, clean the stones and place fresh spring flowers in all the containers. It was a perfect "spring" winter day and now our section looks quite colorful!

This is a picture of us next to Hibachan's stone :)
