My Little Scout

Gregory joined the cub scouts this year and today we had our first "See and Sell" popcorn event! (Actually the second for the pack, but our first time selling) We sold a whopping 3 bags during our shift. Peets coffee isn't the best spot for sales ~ mostly bikers with no pockets or backpacks. :(

Pumpkin Patch

Today we took the kids to C&M pumpkin patch. We spent a total of 15 minutes choosing a pumpkin (well, 4 pumpkins)

Daddy says he's starting the fence next week. Great ~ Now we'll have sawdust flying in our house for the next 6 months! When will it ever end?

Saturday

This morning Gregory and Daddy went to Home Depot for the free woodworking class so he could get his first tiger scout bead! While they were out, Bailey and I went to Joann's to get fabric to start her first quilt! She went on a field trip last week and saw some old quilts and got the idea to make her own. :) We need to wash our fabrics before we get started so keep checking in to see her progress! After we all got home, we went plant shopping so we could work on our backyard. Things are looking good! Quite excited ~ the end of the tunnel is near and Clark is starting to wonder what he should do next! Our day ended with dinner at Amici's and roasted marshmallows over a roaring fire!

Campfire

Today Daddy laid the last bits of lawn in our backyard around 1pm and decided to celebrate! As soon as he kicked up his feet he discovered a leak in our sprinkler system. He dug around and though he found the problem, we ran to OSH to get the parts and he fixed it! BUT now he thinks the leak may be UNDER OUR PATIO!!?! UGH. Well, tomorrow's a new day...

Was just a great way to end our day. Can't wait for our next campfire! OH! And it even came with a grill so we can actually cook dinner over a fire. All the best parts of camping right in our backyard! :)
