What are the Chances?!?

Gregory was probably one of the last kids in his class to loose his first tooth and TODAY he lost his SECOND!!  What are the chances??

He lost it right before lunch (at school!) so he got another treasure chest!  He picked red so he can give this one to Bailey :)

It FINALLY Happened!!

This morning Gregory tells me his tooth is loose and he is hoping he will lose it at school so he can get a cute treasure chest to keep it safe.  Well, after Bailey went into class, I was chatting with my friends and he was standing there working on his tooth and announces it fell out!  Wow!  My little man lost his first tooth!!  We went to the office and Mrs Barnes let him choose a cute little treasure chest!  Sure hope the tooth fairy remembers to stop by tonight!!
Whoo hoo!

The One Room School House

Jump back to 1888 ~ Our daughter Kay attends school and learns to cipher, spell, recite, use pen and ink and play traditional games at the Tassajara Grammar School.
~~~~~~~~~~
Today Bailey got to experience a day at school in 1888.  Earlier this month, they had to pick an "old" name (she wanted to use Hibachan's name ~ Kay).  They dressed in prairie clothes and brought food that kids would've eaten back then.  When they got to school they hopped into cars and drove to the one room school house for a fun-filled morning!   She said her favorite part was sitting in the old desks and writing with the quill pen and the worst part was the day being so short!
This morning I packed Kay's lunch in a bucket ~ apple muffin, croissants, beef jerky, dried apples, cookie and water
Covered it with her napkin and sent her on her way
Here's Kay decked out in her prairie dress and bonnet Grandma sewed for her. Mommy (barely) managed the apron and knitted a shawl.  Doesn't she make a cute prairie girl??
