GIRL'S ONLY!

Today Gregory started basketball camp that runs from 9am-2pm.  Well, that give Bailey and I some much needed GIRL'S ONLY time!  We ran errands, had lunch together and finished a little sewing project!  I even got dinner going!!

Oh, and Gregory had a great time at camp ~ He even won the LeBron James award for his efforts!  Three more days to go!

REUNION!

Another year has passed and again my high school buddies gathered for our annual reunion!  I wish we all lived closer together so we could get together more often, but I sure am thankful we continue to stay in touch (at least) once a year!

Concord Obon

This morning Daddy and I had to go and roll sushi from 8:30-12:00p so Auntie Joey took the kids out on the town!  They had breakfast and Sunshine Bagel, went to Central Park, played games at Super Franks and even had lunch at McDonalds!  WHAT A MORNING!

Then, if that wasn't enough excitement for the day, Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Frank came over so we could all go and play at the obon!  The kids played a bunch of games, won too many prizes and we picked up lots (and lots) of food.  We decided to eat at home since Daddy stayed here to work on our neighbor's fence.  We all enjoyed a yummy dinner here together.  Still think Concord Obon has the best food!  YUM!!

Our First Vacation to Oregon and Washington!

We just got back from a week in Portland and Seattle ~ we flew into Portland, drove to Seattle and back to Portland where we flew back home again.  Let me tell you, it was a NOT STOP vacation.  We squeezed in about a months worth of activities into 7 fun-filled, some wet, some dry days!  We visited OMSI, took a submarine tour, found the BEST noodle place in Portland (Frank's Noodle House), hit almost every vegan bakery, took an aerial tram, went to the Museum of Flight, had lunch at the top of the Space Needle, took a Duck Tour (SOOOO FUN), checked out Pike's Place Market ~ including the gum (smelly) wall, ate our first crab boil, hit natsu matsuri in Seattle and checked out their town, saw a Mariner's game, ate and ate and ate, and even did a little shopping!  I am POOPED and my feet are too!  I think we all had a pretty good time (although I don't like Portland much) and we are looking forward to our next vacation ~ not soon...

Warning ~ slide show is long.  We took over 800 pictures and I got it down to 100.
