Jammin and Pickin

This morning we went to Stockton to make apricot pineapple jam (that we usually make in June or July, but I wasn't in any condition for jamming so we froze the fruit and make today) and to pick kaki.  Busy, busy day!

This year Uncle helped us make jam

I had to count this patch of sugar FIVE times!  Counting is tricky on pain medications.  Especially with people chatting about numbers with you!!

We made 4 batches this year (2 double batches)  All set for the year!

Birthday Breakfast!

My Sweets requested a grilled cheese sandwich for her birthday breakfast this morning.  I added the grapes :)

Celebrating Bailey's Birthday!

Saturday we celebrated Bailey's birthday by having the family over for dinner.  We missed Uncle Ryan and Lukie, who were out camping and enjoying the fresh air!

Early Birthday Gift

 Today we took Bailey to Claire's to get her ears pierced!  She's been wanted to get them done and decided that is what she wanted for her upcoming birthday gift!  Since you have to leave the studs in for 5 weeks we went to do it today so she can wear (most likely) a pair of cat earrings on her birthday!
