Happy 74th Birthday, Grandpa!

We all gathered at Aunty Kristin and Uncle Bob's house for dinner tonight to celebrate Grandpa's 74th birthday!

Here are the girls working on a project in Emma's castle!

They even did a little coloring too

Here's the grown up table. Everyone eating away!

We had lots of yummy food, but a highlight was this crab. Uncle Bob and Aunty Kristin drove to Half Moon Bay this morning to get live crabs! They were HUGE! and Oh, so tasty! There really is a difference.

Again, I take the photo after everyone ate! UGH!

Here are the boys playing video games (Lukie is in the back playing with Calico Critters)

Everyone help Grandpa

Lukie's turn!

We all had a great time and I think Grandpa had a pretty nice 74th birthday celebration!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

The Dinosaur Plant

For Christmas Santa brought Gregory a Dinosaur plant!

Here's the box

Here's what was inside

Bowl, lava rocks and a "bulb"

Opening the lava rocks

Place the "bulb" on the lava rocks and add water

In an hour it'll start coming back to life!

In three hours it really starts looking like a plant! We need to keep it moist for it to stay alive, but if we happen to let it dry out, we just have to wait two weeks and do it all over again. Too bad we can do that to a dinosaur. :)

HAPPY 2012!

Hope everyone had a wonderful start to 2012! We spent the day with family in Stockton ~ lots of food, fun and chatter. A perfect start to (hopefully a) perfect year!
