Vacation 2 ~ Day COME HOME!!

Well, all good things must come to an end and today was the end of our vacation!  We had a great week, spending time with both Daddy and Mommy's family, but it sure is nice to be HOME!

Vacation 2 ~ Day 3

Woke up to my little man making pancakes with Grandma!  They started our day off quite nicely!  We had pancakes, leftover fried rice, eggs, sausage, bacon...just starting another day of eating!  We took the kids to the lake again this morning and again they had a great time!  We came back for lunch and another soak in the hot tub.  Afternoon was spent playing cards, pool, resting AND taking a family photo!  We had dinner at Harrah's, played a little Keno while we waited for our food to come and ended the day at the arcade and shopping!

Vacation 2 ~ Day 2

This day started early...mostly cuz my kids woke up early!  I'm thinking we had breakfast started before 7am!  Fried rice, eggs, bacon, sausage and fruits!  Uncle Ryan, Aunty Joey, Camryn and Lukie rolled in around 10/11a.  The kids kept themselves busy all morning and before we knew it, lunchtime!   More food...hotdogs, chili, chips, fruits and all the fixins!  Kids played some more after lunch and then we took them to Heavenly for some outdoor fun.  Unfortunately what we wanted to do had a very long line so we decided to take them to the lake ~ Mom, Dad, Clark and I stayed at Harrahs to play a bit while the rest of the crew went to the lake to play.  More fun for the kids!  They came home wet and took a quick rinse in the shower before hopping into the hot tub while we finished up dinner.  Tonight's feast included ham, rice, green salad, grilled veggies and s'mores for dessert!  After dinner, some of the group went for a walk while some rested.  I had some minute to win it games for the kids to play and around 8:30p, Clark, Bob, Toki, Uncle and I headed back to the casino for a bit!  What a fun, busy day!  Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Vacation 2 ~ Day 1

Today we started part 2 of our vacation. This time we headed out to Lake Tahoe to meet Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Frank, Aunty Kristin, Uncle Bob, Oliver, Emma, Uncle Ryan, Aunty Joey, Camryn and Lukie for 4 days and 3 nights of fun!  We started out at noon from San Ramon hoping to roll in around 3:30p, BUT we hit a bit of a snag...huge forest fire in Kyburz that caused us to, first wait an hour to see if the road would open back up, and add a good hour to our drive!  In the end, took us 6 hours to get to TAHOE!
