Science Fair

Tonight the kids participated in the Golden View Science Fair.  

We dropped everything off before school this morning

Tonight we came back for the fair (more like the scream fest!  geez, don't parents watch their kids??)

They had a little presentation on Cryogenics

I couldn't hear anything cuz it was SO NOISY!

Gregory's Science Snack ~ this year they tried this optional mini project.  The younger kids were able to chose from a list of "snacks" that the visitors could play with...initially i thought i was signing up to bring a snack for the fair :\

Sacramento Tournament!

This was a basketball weekend!  We left our house at 7am Saturday and came home around 7pm last  night.  What a weekend!  The boys played 2 games on Saturday and I was thinking we'd lose both games, play early for consolation and get home before noon!  Well, the boys looked great out there.  Played their little hearts out and WON both games on Saturday.  This meant we were in the finals on Sunday!!  AND get this!  We WON the CHAMPIONSHIP!!  Whoo hoo Diablo!  Very fun and exciting weekend.  Sad our season is over, but what a way to end!

My Heart is Broken

On March 3 Dad passed away...I was hoping if I didn't post, it wouldn't be real.  But as the hours turn into days, reality becomes harder to avoid.  I know he is in a better place, no longer suffering, but I miss him more than words can say.  Dad, I will see you again and can't wait to run back into your arms for one of your great big hugs!  I LOVE YOU!!  

Ohtani Tournament

Yesterday our little team played it's first tournament of the season!  They played two great games and tried their very best!!  We should've come home with the championship, but we lost the first game cuz the refs were horrible and were only calling things on our boys instead of both teams.  Clark just about got ejected from the game (and possibly coaching), but even with all that we only lost by 2.  Most importantly the boys had a great time!!

Afterwards we went to Miraku for dinner! :)
