Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!  We had a weekend filled with Easter fun!  Yesterday we all met for Easter lunch and a Happy 70th Birthday for Uncle Gary at Kikusushi in Cupertino, followed by Easter festivities at Aunty Patsy and Uncle Gary's house.  Daddy and I came home while the kids dyed eggs and hunted for goodies.  I SLEPT FOR 3 HOURS!  We ordered pizza for dinner and called it a day.  (again, no photos!  I've really got to get better at the photo taking)

This morning the Easter Bunny stopped by and brought goodies for the kiddies ~ furry ones too!!  They took pics for me :)

Funny story...I had planned to cook a roast for Easter dinner, but my little Sparky and I fell asleep and we took ANOTHER THREE HOUR NAP.  Woke up and only had time to make mongolian beef. :\

Our Last Game...

Well, we had the last game of the season today and I'm actually a little blue.  We had so much fun.  Now we just need to hope they keep our little team together next season!!

Birthday Weekend Continues...

Today is Daddy's "actual" birthday and we had a jam packed day!  Between errands and basketball practice I could've called it a day, BUT tonight was the Father/Daughter dance at school and Gregory and I had a date night!  Daddy and Bailey got all dressed up and went to school for pizza, dancing and a raffle!  AND we all know how much we LOVE RAFFLES!!  Well, they bought two tickets and won TWO prizes!!  Whoo hoo!  Daddy keeps telling me, he is having a fantastic birthday weekend!  He wants to blow off the tournament tomorrow and go to VEGAS!  ~ Back to reality...While they were at the dance, Gregory and I went out on a date night.  We had dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings, dessert at Cold Stone (NEVER get red velvet!  It stains your skin BADLY) and shopping at Sports Authority.  Came home and were planning to play a little Battleship, but Daddy and Bailey came home earlier than I thought.  Fun, fun, fun!!

The BIG 5-0

Spring has sprung and our garden is in its beginning stages of bloom.  Just in time to brighten Daddy's day as he turns the BIG 5-0 tomorrow!  He has been dreading this one, but we had a wonderful celebration dinner tonight.  We had dinner at the Brass Door.  This prime rib house near our home that he has been dying to try.  Been in San Ramon for 60 years and we've never stepped inside until tonight.  Had a great dinner, wonderful service AND we were pleasantly surprised when our waitress told us dinner was FREE!  Clark's boss somehow figured out we were eating there and took care of the tab for us.  What a great way to start his birthday weekend!! :)  We came home for dessert and made it in time for bed.  Weekend is PACKED so we'll need all the rest we can get!
