Jammin' with Grandma

This morning the kids and I went to Stockton to make jam with Grandma.  We made 8 batches of Gregory's favorite apricot pineapple jam.  Now, he is set for the year!

Grandpa's garden is really filling in!  Everything looks nice and green!  Can't wait until we can eat some vine ripened heirloom tomatoes and nasubi!!  YUM!

...and my birthday continues

Tonight we went to our new favorite restaurant, Brass Door, for dinner!  We ate way too much and still went out to Yogurtland for more!  They have my favorite flavor right now ~Rocket Pop Sorbet!!  YUMMO!!!

This restaurant has been here since 1955 and we just discovered it a few months ago

YUMMO!!!  I got the orange one for Daddy, but the blue one is my FAV(E)  (My son tells me i need to add the "E" at the end to make the "A" long.) 

Apricots!!

This morning we woke up at 6:30am to go pick Blenheim apricots in Brentwood!  We managed to pick about 30 pounds in 40 minutes.  Daddy had a conference call at 10:30 so we were on a mission.  The apricots are delicious and will make yummy jam!!

And Summer Begins...

Yesterday at noon, summer vacation officially started!  We had lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and dessert at Yogurtland.  If we didn't have to wait 45 minutes for our lunch, I would've said we had a perfect start to our vacation!  Now I just need to fill in that point to August 25th with fun-filled activities!  HELP! :\!!

My Birthday Weekend

We had originally had a very busy weekend planned, BUT I caught a flu bug and stayed in bed all Saturday and most of Sunday.  The kids did plan a party for me so we kinda celebrated my birthday.  We will go out for dinner next weekend, but we did the at home portion this weekend! :)

My little Sparklet went back to his Daddy today.  JJ was so blue (still is)  He poked his little paw in his crate to say goodbye

My friend said Sparky won't eat his favorite food...He misses us too much :(
