Mommy's Day!

I had a very nice Mother's Day weekend!  We pretty much hung around the house, but I was able to read a book AND squeeze in 2 snoozers!!  Daddy and the kids did a lot of work in the garden and we had a perfect lazy weekend.
Beautiful flowers started my day! :)

Daddy is still working on the roots in the front.  Number 2 is about to come out!!

Here it is!  Root number 2 - ONE more to go!!

Muffins with Mommy

Today Gregory's class had a Muffins with Mommy day.  We had muffins, chocolate dipped strawberries and orange juice.  The kids all made bracelets and added a little shrink art heart they worked on and Mrs. Judice ended the event with a story.

Happy Boy's Day!

Happy Boy's Day, Scooter!
We caught a little friend this afternoon!  His name is Chewy.

We kept him until dinner was over and let him go.  He buried himself in the rocks and gave us a little scare before we let him free.

Happy Boy's Day!

Gregory requested steak for his Boy's Day dinner!  Actually he wanted Amici's pizza, but we ended up going there on Friday when Daddy got home early(ish)

Skylanders!

Happy Early Mother's Day!

After attending Uncle Mits' 3rd year Memorial Service in San Jose we headed over to Stockton to celebrate Mother's Day and see Grandpa and Grandma's brand new beautiful kitchen!  (Sorry, I forget to take pictures!)  The workers still have some finishing touches so it isn't ready for the final reveal yet anyways.
Happy Birthday Oliver!
We had dinner at China Palace - Here's Aunty Kristin, Oliver and Gregory

Our Veggie Garden

The kids and I put in our vegetable garden a few weeks ago and it's amazing how quickly things are filling in!  We still need to plant our potatoes and pumpkins and maybe add a couple more herbs too!
We started basil from seed and look at all the plants that came up!

The kids picked four different heirloom tomato plants ~ We'll see what we end up with this summer

Some naughty critter is feasting on our nasubi :(

Green onions are looking good

We already have some squash growing on our little plant!

Bailey planted lettuce seeds - I think a critter ate most of them

Gregory planted corn seeds

Our rose garden is looking pretty good.  I'm hoping we'll have some nice roses next Tuesday for Teacher Appreciation Day!

UPDATE - Basil growing!

UPDATE - A week sure makes a difference

Our sunflowers are getting big

Daddy planted our lemon tree and Bailey's lettuce is getting HUGE

Corn is gonna be yummy this summer!
