Gold Rush Days!

Yesterday the 4th Graders had GOLD RUSH DAY!  The kids all dressed in their Pioneer garb and went to school to hunt for gold.  THEN!  That night they performed their Gold Dust or Bust musical. Grandpa and Grandma drove out to see the show and really brightened Bailey's day!

Our Busy Day!

We had a very busy, oh so fun day yesterday!  We had our End of the Year basketball party at the Fujii's house for lunch (which lasted until about dinner!) and then we headed out to Stockton for Calvary's annual Spaghetti Feed RAFFLE!!!

...And Spring Break has Finally Come to an End....

Our week off has come to an end.  We pretty much hung out at home.  We did make a day trip out to San Francisco's Japantown for lunch and shopping and to San Jose to do our Japanese food shopping.  Uncle Scotty and his family made a surprise trip to visit us for dinner one night too!  We got our house a bit organized and found lots of stuff to sell at our garage sale in a couple weeks and did LOTS of gardening!!

Our cutting garden is starting to fill in.  I also planted another 18 dahlia tubers!!!

Sweet peas are starting to bloom!  Smell so sweet in our veggie garden!

Happy 77th Birthday, Grandma!

Yesterday Grandma turned 77 years old!  We went to Stockton on Monday to help her celebrate!  Had dinner at the Garlic Brother's, overlooking the water and cake/ice cream back at the house.  

I'm thinking someone may end up being a HUGE cat.  Don't his paws look quite large?

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!  We had a weekend filled with Easter fun!  Yesterday we all met for Easter lunch and a Happy 70th Birthday for Uncle Gary at Kikusushi in Cupertino, followed by Easter festivities at Aunty Patsy and Uncle Gary's house.  Daddy and I came home while the kids dyed eggs and hunted for goodies.  I SLEPT FOR 3 HOURS!  We ordered pizza for dinner and called it a day.  (again, no photos!  I've really got to get better at the photo taking)

This morning the Easter Bunny stopped by and brought goodies for the kiddies ~ furry ones too!!  They took pics for me :)

Funny story...I had planned to cook a roast for Easter dinner, but my little Sparky and I fell asleep and we took ANOTHER THREE HOUR NAP.  Woke up and only had time to make mongolian beef. :\

My family still enjoyed it all :)
