My Favorite Place

Forecast for our area was the high 90s today ~ so we decided to find cooler weather and drove to my favorite place in Cali!  Carmel & Monterey!!  I don't know what I find so appealing there, but I just love it!  We packed a picnic lunch and drove straight to Carmel and hit the beach!  We hung out a little over two hours, drove to the wharf in Monterey to pick up our cotton candy and popcorn, stopped in San Jose for dinner and now we are back home!  Long, fun day!

Happy Labor Day!!

Today, more labor.  It's been a labor intensive weekend!  I'm ready to go back to school!!  Well, today we decided to clean and organize the office/den.

Growing Up

Woke up thinking we'd get a little cleaning done and take the kids someplace fun in the afternoon.  Bailey has been wanting to make her "kid" room into a more age appropriate room for sometime.  She started a while ago and since then her room has looked like a TORNADO flew through it so today I told her I'd help her.  A, what I thought was going to an easy undertaking, took ALL DAY!   While Bailey and I were working on her room, Daddy and Gregory ran errands (OSH moving sale, Home Depot, Jamba Juice...the usual) AND cleaned the bathroom and kitchen floors.  They pooped out early so the hardwood will have to wait until tomorrow.  I'm sore and pooped debating if I should just crawl into bed and go to SLEEP!

Little one lost ANOTHER TOOTH!  

We ran to Marukai yesterday!  

B tells me now all we need are posters, a new bed spread and an alarm clock :\

JJ Turns ONE!

Today our little JJ turned ONE!  The kids planned a fun-filled party for our little boy!

Updates

We are just about finishing our second week of school.  Things have been happening so fast I'm having a hard time adjusting!  Hoping next week things will slow down and we can get into a rhythm.  Don't worry, I'm not holding my breath!  Next week Daddy goes to his first basketball meeting, library at school opens, my office/copy mom duties have increased, I need to start Girl Scout meetings for the year, Cub Scout popcorn sale started and the list goes on and on!

Bailey lost a TOOTH!  Tooth Fairy missed our house TWO nights!!  Never heard of such a thing.  This am she tells me the tooth fairy must not come for molars cuz her tooth was STILL in the box.  Now how does that happen?!?! :\

My Sparklet is BACK!!!!  Oh, I'm so happy!  JJ's birthday is Saturday and Bailey asked Kim if S could come to the party.  Of course he said YES! :)

JJ, however, isn't thrilled with his buddy (doesn't he look perturbed?) ~ well, actually they are fine now (or can be in the same room), but last night they had a lot of working out to do.
