Fun at the Fair

Daddy had the day off today so we took the kids to the Alameda County Fair. We go to see all the animals, but no animals today! Well, no cows, sheep and/or pigs - the fun animals to see. They were being checked in sometime today so all we saw were the stalls. BUMMER. They did get to see all the chickens, rabbits, ducks, geese and a bunch of reptiles though. Bailey pet a very fuzzy rabbit and BOTH Bailey and Gregory pet the duckling! I was shocked Gregory wanted to pet the duckling!

After looking at the small animal section we went to see all the sales people selling their wares (I love that part!) and ended with playing a game of throwing ping pong balls into dishes. Four rounds later the kids won three small cats! We picked up some kettle corn on the way out and that was our day at the fair!

See the little one week old duckling?

Gregory actually touching the duckling!

He made it! Red bowl wins a small prize.

Two of the three kittens they won.

Bailey's favorite - petting the duckling and winning a kitten

Gregory's favorite - petting the duckling and throwing the balls (He didn't particularly care for the kittens, but he liked playing)

They both said they had a "great day at the fair!"
