The Dentist

Today the kids went to the dentist. Bailey has gone a few times and loves it. Always lies on the chair, gets her teeth cleaned and fluoride put on. Never a problem - just the perfect patient. Today was Gregory's first visit. I thought since Bailey went first he'd be okay, but he wanted nothing to do with getting his pearly whites cleaned, counted or touched. SO mommy had to lie on the chair with him. All went well for cleaning, but when the dentist came to check him out he was done with lying on mommy so we had to try something new - I held him and he put his head on the doctor's lap to get checked. It went okay for about a minute. Found out he has a chipped tooth and things are going to be squishy in there when all his teeth come in. The squishy part - nothing we have to worry about now. We'll just have to keep an eye on it. Now the chipped tooth!? Don't have any idea how that happened. Other than that, all's well and we go back again in six months.
